Personal, individual networks are becoming increasingly important nowadays. The varios networking opportunities reflect this need. The selected events, including discussion forums, round tables, XING meetings and workshops, as well as the popular conhIT-Party and the successful conhIT Gala, the visits to selected hospitals, and the thematic guided tours are all ideal ways of cultivating and expanding your network.

Clinical Documentation Challenge 2012: Mobile rounds as part of the treatment process
The more widespread use of mobile terminals represents the start of the hospital IT 2.0 era. Developments are focussing on finding a satisfactory mobile solution as a means of supporting treatment processes during medical rounds. In a live presentation during the Clinical Documentation Challenge (CDC) on Tuesday at conhIT four manufacturers will be using a set scenario to show the extend to which their hospital information (HI) systems are capable of meeting the challenges, as well as the added value that they provide for users. The CDC is being organised by the GMDS Working Group for Clinical Workplace Systems.

conhIT Career Services
The careers information board in the Networking area lists job vacancies offered by exhibitors as well as details about training opportunities in the healthcare IT sector. The Career Guide features companies with offers of employment. On the Wednesday conhIT has something special for students and young professionals: the Careers Workshop, to be followed by an informal get-together for participants and exhibitors.

Daily conhIT Innovation Forums and the bvitg Experts’ Forums
At the conhIT Innovation Forums companies will be using selected core themes to show what IT can provide in this field. Subsequently the solutions will be shown on the stands. At the bvitg Experts’ Forum working groups from the bvitg – German Association of the Healthcare IT Industry will be providing information about some of subjects that are currently attracting the most attention in this field.

Focus on the Nursing Profession and Physicians
A programme has been prepared on the Tuesday and the Wednesday afternoons specifically for nursing staff and medical practitioners, showing where IT can be applied in these fields and what it can provide. The programme includes panel discussions, workshops and guided tours of the fair.
